UTMB's Nurse Anesthesia program leadership and students visited Austin to attend CRNA Day at the Capitol on Feb. 2.
The annual event, hosted by TxANA (Texas Association of Nurse Anesthetists), is an opportunity to advocate for CRNA practice and patient safety by meeting directly with elected officials. This year's event brought more than 200 nurse anesthesia professionals and trainees to the capitol to advocate for their profession.
UTMB's Dr. Cora Rabe, CRNA Program Director; and Dr. Amber High, Assistant Program Director, attended with their first-year students.
