    It is a true honor to join the UTMB Academic Enterprise and serve as your Director of Wellness. Since arriving in January, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with so many remarkable faculty, staff, and leaders and I’ve felt the warmth, pride, and hospitality that make this community so special!

  • Institutional Accreditation Update: February 2026

    The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) facilitates UTMB's institutional accreditation with the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on College (SACSCOC). As UTMB approaches its next scheduled accreditation with SACSCOC in 2028, OIE will share regular progress updates.

    Educational Grant Award Recipients Announced

    Four faculty members have received educational grants through the Academy of Master Teachers (AMT) and Teaching Excellence and Mentorship (TEAM). These funds support educational innovation through projects by our faculty. Congratulations!

    Celebrating the Growth and Impact of the Faculty Factory

    The Faculty Factory now has more than 360 episodes! As of Jan. 1, 2026, the podcast and YouTube channel have had more than 142,000 total downloads from listeners in 101 countries, and the Faculty Factory website has drawn more than 71,000 web visits from users in 122 countries.
