Dr. Ruiz joined the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in 2026 as an Assistant Professor Clinical Practice. He will be seeing patients at the Family Medicine Clinic Island West.
Dr. Ruiz earned in Doctor of Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and completed his residency at UTMB Health.
