Family Medicine Adds Community Health To It's Name

We are excited to announce the next season for our department here at UTMB.  As of the beginning of November 2025 The Department of Family Medicine will now be known as The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. We continue to evolve with a greater focus on the community, value, population health and health outcomes that really matter for the health of Galvestonians and those that we serve in the state. We continue to strive to bring value to our work and strength to the department and the populations we serve as we advance the mission and vision of the department and our strategic priorities.
