Congratulations to Drs. Yasin and Lee on securing a $10,000 foundational research grant from Texas Academy of Family Physicians to launch new acupuncture clinic in St. Vincent Hope Clinic.  Acupuncture works by stimulating nerves, muscles, and connective tissue, releasing pain-relieving chemicals like endorphins, and potentially reducing inflammation, effectively treating conditions like back pain, headaches, osteoarthritis, and nausea, often as a complementary treatment alongside conventional medicine.

At St. Vincent's Hope Clinic, their partnership with the University of Texas Medical Branch brings a highly skilled team consisting of faculty members, health professionals, residents and students from diverse fields. This educational collaboration enriches our clinics with cutting-edge medical practices and a vibrant learning environment, ensuring that their patients receive compassionate, top-tier care.

At St. Vincent's Hope Clinics, they believe that every individual deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their financial situation. Their mission is to provide comprehensive, and accessible healthcare services to the Galveston community. They are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of their patients through a wide range of medical services, health education, and proactive care management.
