Dr. Garasia joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2024. She is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island West. Dr. Garasia earned her Bachelor Science in Cell and Microbiology from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Garasia earned her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Sam Houston State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Conroe, Texas.
Dr. Garasia is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Dr. Garasia speaks Hindi/Urdu and has academic, clinical and research interests in Hospital Medicine and Preventative Medicine.
