A multidisciplinary team from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston has uncovered a new mechanism for designing antiviral drugs for dengue virus.

Researchers from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston have received more than $7.7 million from the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases to spearhead a Center to identify, track and counter mosquito-borne diseases.

Researchers at The University of Texas Medical Branch are collaborating with the clinical trial laboratory services organization Q2 Solutions to make a new assay test available that will streamline the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
