The UTMB Police Department is offering a free U-Lock bicycle lock to each UTMB Student who registers their bicycle. Registering your bicycle will help in the recovery and return of your bicycle in the event it is stolen. One U-Lock will be issued to secure your bicycle at the provided campus bicycle racks. This is a proactive approach to help reduce bicycle thefts.

Bicycle MaintenanceUTMB POLICE SERVICES

The UTMB Police Department will offer "free basic bicycle maintenance" and bicycle registrations bi-weekly on Thursdays. The maintenance will include placing oil on chains and adding air to the tire. For those who register their bicycles, UTMB PD will offer free U-locks and Rear Lights (while supplies last). The UTMB PD will alternately set-up at the bike racks near the Moody Medical Library and the Health Education Center Building. Times of maintenance will be from 11am to 1pm.
