A message from the president:

Recognizing Our FY25 Progress and Announcing This Year’s Team Awards

During our recent Town Hall meeting, we celebrated the outstanding accomplishments of Fiscal Year 2025, and announced that we will once again be paying Team Awards.  

The Team Awards recognize the collective efforts of employees in achieving our institutional goals. They reflect our shared commitment to excellence and the lasting impact we create when we work together in the service of others. 

Employees who meet the following criteria will receive a one-time payment of $500 on Nov. 7, 2025, for their contributions in FY25:

  • Hired/rehired on or before March 1, 2025;  
  • Completed at least six months of continuous active employment in a benefits-eligible position (0.5 FTE or greater) and maintained this status through the payout date;  
  • Received a satisfactory performance evaluation for FY25;  
  • Did not receive a final written warning, suspension, or involuntary demotion in FY25;  
  • Do not participate in the Executive and A&P At-Risk Compensation Plan, Faculty Compensation and Incentive Plan, or any other incentive plan, regardless of whether those plans pay out an award; and 
  • Actively employed by UTMB on the payout date.
