Sep 8, 2021, 09:44 AM by SCOA

Brian Downer, PhD, has been appointed Co-Director of the Translational Research Scholars Program in the Institute of Translational Sciences at UTMB. Dr. Downer's leadership in research is exemplified by his record of success as both a TRSP Scholar and new Associate Professor, and willingness to take on this critically important responsibility in helping the ITS and the Institution to foster the continued development of our early-career faculty, who form the vital pipeline of potential KL2 Scholars for our CTSA-supported KL2 Mentored Career Development Program, and our future peers and collaborators.
