Kseniya Masterova Awarded TL1 Fellowship

photo of woman in lab coatUTMB MD-PhD student Kseniya Masterova has been awarded a predoctoral training fellowship supported by the Institute for Translational Science TL1 Training Core. Elena Volpi, MD, PhD is her primary and clinical research mentor and Blake Rasmussen, PhD is her basic science mentor. The award is effective April 8, 2022. It will provide support, within NIH guidelines, for graduate student stipend, health insurance, tuition, and fees as well as a small travel allowance to present research data at a scientific meeting. The award period will be for up to two years.
