Biography

Blair H. Brown, MS, RDN, LD, CNSC, is the Associate Chair, Assistant Professor, Program Director for the Master of Science and Dietetic Internship, and Director of Clinical Education in the Department of Nutrition Sciences and Health Behavior at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Ms. Brown received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Nutrition from Sam Houston State University in 2009. She also completed her Master of Science in Dietetics with a minor in Counseling Education and dietetic internship at Sam Houston State.

Before joining the department, Ms. Brown practiced weight management and acute care clinical dietetics for 8 years, six of those years specializing in solid organ transplantation. She is also board-certified as a nutrition support clinician.
