The Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), coordinated by WHO, marks 25 years of strengthening global health emergency preparedness and response. Since its founding in 2000, the network has supported over 175 emergencies in 114 countries by deploying more than 3,600 experts and partnering with over 310 institutions worldwide. GOARN plays a vital role in rapidly delivering targeted expertise, training national teams, and building resilient local health systems.
