NETEC has announced a second round of NSPS Level 2 STAND Awards, offering up to 21 U.S. hospitals grants of up to $500,000 each to strengthen preparedness for high-consequence infectious diseases. Combined with the first round, the program will create a national network of 75 specialized treatment centers to improve regional response, surge capacity, and care for emerging infectious threats.
