The WHO welcomes the UN General Assembly’s adoption of the Political Declaration on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response, emphasizing global solidarity, equitable access to health resources, and stronger international cooperation to prevent and respond to future pandemics. The WHO also urges Member States to finalize the PABS Annex to advance the WHO Pandemic Agreement and strengthen global health security.
