About Me

Dr. Caitlin Cotter is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, focusing on vector-borne and zoonotic diseases. Current projects include community-based and infectious disease dynamics modelling approaches to Lassa fever in Nigeria and dengue in Peru. She engages the principles of systems thinking, infectious disease epidemiology, mathematical modelling, biostatistics, and emerging infectious disease research in public health, and she is particularly interested in how infectious diseases affect women and babies during pregnancy. Dr. Cotter loves dogs and running marathons!
