Dr. Xiang Yu presented at the World Congress of Bioethics

Dr. Yu's presentation was titled "Why is aging undesirable? Limits of the biological vs. chronological framework." The talk critiques the proposal that aging is undesirable because biological aging is undesirable. Instead, I argue that biological aging can be desirable, and that chronological aging, social aging, and psychological aging can all be undesirable. This argument implies that healthy aging initiative should not be restricted to slowing down biological aging.
