Alejandro Vera (he/him) is a first-year PhD student in Bioethics and Health Humanities at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Alejandro holds a M.Sc. in Medical Humanities from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry and a B.A. in Bioethics from the University of Rochester. His primary research interests include complex and chronic illnesses, qualitative research methods, lived experiences, embodiment, and narrative medicine.
