Institute Administration
Associate Director: Lynn Soong, MD, PhD
The Executive Committee of the IHII is chaired by the Director of the IHII and serves to (1) advise the Director and membership of the IHII on Institute policies, (2) provide guidance concerning the research and scholarly activities of the Institute, and (3) approve appointments of members and associate members of the Institute, subject to the conditions of membership. The Executive Committee serves as a forum for discussion of matters relevant to the infectious disease and immunology research communities at UTMB, and accomplishes this purpose by meeting at least quarterly, or at other times at the call of the chair as circumstances dictate.
