Congress should boost health care

The Daily News, Nov. 13, 2006 By Garland Anderson In the coming weeks, Congress will finalize the federal budget for 2007, setting national priorities through its funding decisions. Ensuring our nation has a diverse health care work force to meet the needs of every citizen should be high on the list. But Congress is on track to eliminate funding for some of the nation’s most effective programs to increase diversity and reduce disparities in health care.
