Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2

Success Criteria

2.4.2 Page Titled (Level A)

Web pages have titles that describe topic or purpose.

  • Use a unique, descriptive page title
  • Put the most important information first (front loading)
  • Instead of UTMB - Our Department, use Our Department | UTMB or Our Department at UTMB
  • In Sitefinity, this is the same as the page name
  • Developers: use the HTML <title> tag
  • This will show as the tab name in the web browser
