Prenaital, a Denmark start-up company that develops AI models to improve diagnostics of pregnant women, and the Consulate General of Denmark-Houston visited UTMB on February 11, 2025.
UTMB's AI Team, OB/GYN physicians, and the Office of Innovation provided feedback and collaboration opportunities with UTMB faculty to better understand the US market for their companies’ diagnostic solutions.

In March, UTMB School of Nursing Policy & Leadership and Health Advocacy Honors students traveled to Austin for an immersive experience at the intersection of nursing and public policy.
