Brendan Holderread, MD

Resident Physician

Dr. Holderread joined the Department of Family Medicine in 2024. He is a resident physician in training at the Family Medicine Clinic – Island East. Dr. Holderread earned his Bachelor Science in Biology from Texas A&M in College Station, Texas.  Dr. Holderread earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Texas A&M's College of Medicine.  Dr. Holderread did 2 years of of residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital, while at Methodist, he also did 2 years of post-doc research.

Dr. Holderread is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO).

Dr. Holderread has academic, clinical and research interests in Education, Integrative Medicine, Behavioral Medicine and Quality Improvement.
