Returning to UTMB after previously serving more than a decade on faculty, Dr. Vidal brings a unique blend of international training, academic experience, and clinical expertise. During her time in private practice, she also served as a preceptor for trainees from the UTMB School of Nursing and Baylor College of Medicine Physician Assistant programs. Dr. Ransom earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University at Galveston and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. His professional interests include ambulatory medicine, medical education, and procedural training. He will also be leading a new General Medicine Procedure Clinic, expanding access to specialized outpatient procedures for patients across the region.
