Ashley Cis brings over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong background in critical care and pre/post-surgical nursing. She is passionate about providing whole-person care and ensuring that every patient feels genuinely cared for. Known for her compassionate approach and energetic attitude, Ashley is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
Ashley earned her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021 and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2011. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a Minor in Dance from Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Diana Bernardez completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California at Irvine. She then went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2012 and her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2019. Diana joined UTMB in 2022 as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner for the Geriatric House Call Program. She is a member of organizations such as the Galveston Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses, the Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
