Dr. Moon earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to complete his Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. During his fellowship, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine and served as Associate Chief Fellow and Chief Fellow. At Mayo Clinic, Dr. Moon was actively involved in clinical education, fellow curriculum design, quality improvement, and research.
