The UTMB Department of Speech Language Pathology has been at the forefront of researching innovative approaches to treat orofacial contractures, employing a technique involving low load prolonged intraoral stretching to enhance multi-directional facial movements. We are immensely proud of the tools we've developed, which are currently pending patent approval, as well as the research publications that have emerged from our work.
