Town Hall

Town Hall is a forum for UTMB leadership to engage and communicate with the university community at sites around the state. The meetings are hosted in person on the UTMB Galveston Campus for those can can attend, and offered via a live webcast for online viewing.

Town Hall on March 24, 2022

The March Town Hall took place at  noon on Thursday, March 24. The meeting featured updates from President Ben Raimer, including the naming of the John Sealy School of Medicine and the latest on the John Sealy Hospital modernization; Dr. Majka Woods provided a profile of our medical student body; and a mid-fiscal-year financial update was discussed. 

A live audience was in attendance at Levin Hall on the Galveston Campus (). The meeting was also livestreamed and playback is being offered  for those unable to attend in person or watch live. Check  below for the recording.
