The Clinical Division The Department of Radiation Oncology

About the Division

Our goal is to improve outcomes and enhance quality of life for every patient we treat. At UTMB, each case is more than a diagnosis — it’s a person with a family, a story, and a future.

Every patient is evaluated through a multidisciplinary approach involving surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists who collaborate closely with pathologists, radiologists, patient navigators, social workers, and other specialists. Together, they design a personalized, multimodal treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs.

Our mission is to deliver best-in-class radiation oncology services, led by exceptional clinicians with strong academic backgrounds, outstanding clinical expertise, and access to world-class technology. We take special pride in providing care for underserved and uninsured patients, as well as individuals treated through the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) system.
