Scheduling Requirements:

Inpatient Clinical Operations

Year:Requirements:
Year 1 & Year 2

• During School: 20 hours / 2 weeks 
• During Summer Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks*
• During Winter Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks 
• Summer Holiday: Memorial Day or Juneteenth or Fourth of July 
• Winter Holiday: Thanksgiving or Christmas 

Year 3

• During School: 20 hours / 2 weeks 
• During Summer Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks* 
• During Winter Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks 
• Summer Holiday: Memorial Day or Juneteenth or Fourth of July 
• Winter Holiday: Thanksgiving or Christmas

Year 4

• While on rotations: 10 hours / 2 weeks 
• Summer Holiday: Memorial Day or Juneteenth or Fourth of July 
• Winter Holiday: Thanksgiving or Christmas 

Shifts for the Inpatient Clinical Operations are 12-hour shifts during your P1-P2, and 10-hour shifts during P3-P4 year.
*  If you are on your IPPE Rotations, you are excused from this rule. If you are not on rotations, then you are working full time. 

Specialty Pharmacy 

Year:Requirements:

Year 1 & Year 2

& Year 3

• During School: 20 hours / 2 weeks
• During Summer Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks*
• During Winter Break: 60 hours / 2 weeks*

Year 4

• While on rotations: 10 hours / 2 weeks 

Shifts for the Outpatient Internship Program are flexible, with the shortest shift lasting 3 hours and the longest lasting 9 hours. 
*  If you are on your IPPE Rotations, you are excused from this rule. If you are not on rotations, then you are working full time.
