Dr. Jarrel De Matas presented at the Humanities Medicine Lecture Series (HMLS) sponsored by the John P. McGovern Academy of Oslerian Medicine. Following the principles and ideals of Sir William Osler, HMLS works to promote the arts on campus in order to balance a great scientific education with a humanities education! As Sir Osler stated, to fully care for patients, we must educate our hearts just as much as our heads.
