Who manages UTMB’s institutional social media accounts?

Our Social Media team is officially tasked with managing UTMB's primary institutional social media accounts, and with providing oversight and guidance to all other programs and departments with a UTMB social media presence. The team works to ensure sites comply with state and university guidelines, that they align with brand messaging, and work cohesively for better engagement and effectiveness.
Can my department have its own social media account?

UTMB does allow programs to manage and maintain their own social media presence, but all UTMB-affiliated social accounts must first be reviewed, approved and follow institutional guidelines. For more information, contact social@utmb.edu.
How do I submit content for UTMB’s main social media channels?

If you have an event, announcement, or story to share, submit your item with details to social@utmb.edu for review and consideration.
