Tilly Clark serves as Assistant Director for the Office of the President – Special Use Facilities, University Conferences and Events.  She has served the Office of the President for her entire 28 years of service.
In this role, Ms. Clark manages and directs the operations of two historic properties and six executive conference facilities on the Galveston Campus.  In addition to the business operations, she manages executive meetings, luncheons, receptions, facility tours, as well as, personal and private events for UTMB’s faculty, staff, students, Development Board and President’s Cabinet members. 
Ms. Clark is a member of the Office of the President Operations Committee, Executive Committee for Institutional Planning, Internal Communications Committee, UTMB Professionalism Committee, Institutional Diversity & Inclusion Committee, State Employee Charitable Campaign Committee, and UTMB’s Earth Day Committee.  She also serves on the Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future Board of Directors.
Ms. Clark’s appointment includes leading the UTMB Employee Advisory Council as a Consultant.  Prior to this appointment, she served as Chair for two consecutive terms and Vice-Chair for  two consecutive terms.  The council promotes a positive and collaborative work environment committed to assessing, prioritizing and communicating employee needs to UTMB leadership.  In addition, it serves as a focus group/advisory panel by providing feedback on broad issues and potential new programs that can impact employees.
Recently, Ms. Clark was elected to serve as Chair of the University of Texas System Employee Advisory Council for FY2020.  The council consists of a select group of representatives from each of the 14 UT institutions and UT System Administration and they work with, and on behalf of, The University of Texas System in which they meet and make recommendations to the Board of Regents regarding issues of importance to the employees of UT System.
