UT System Employee Advisory Council

Tilly Clark serves as Assistant Director for the Office of the President - Special Use Facilities, University Conferences and Events. She has served the Office of the President for her entire 32 years of service and has her BAAS in Communication from the University of Houston-Victoria.

In the role, Ms. Clark manages and directs the operations of two historic properties and six executive conference facilities on the Galveston Campus. In addition to the business operations, she manages executive meetings, luncheons, receptions, facility tours, as well as personal and private events for UTMB's faculty, staff, students, Development Board and President's Cabinet members.

Ms. Clark's appointment includes leading the UTMB Employee Advisory Council as a Consultant. Prior to this appointment, she served as Chair for two consecutive terms and Vice-Chair for two consecutive terms. Currently, she serves on many committees across the institution.

Ms. Clark serves as Chair of the University of Texas System Employee Advisory Council for FY2024 and served as Chair for FY2020 and FY2023. The council consists of a select group of representatives from each of the 14 UT institutions and UT System Administration and they work with, and on behalf of, The University of Texas System in which they meet and make recommendations to the Board of Regents regarding issues of importance to the employees of UT System.
