Dr. Kalathil joined the Department of Family Medicine & Community Health in 2025. He is a board-certified in Family Medicine, Obesity Medicine and Sleep Medicine. He will be seeing patients at the Family Medicine Clinic – Dickinson. Dr. Kalathil will also be seeing patients at the Center for Sleep Disorders in Angleton.
Dr. Kalathil earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Dallas and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas . Dr. Kalathil completed his residency training at the Memorial Hermann Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Kalathil completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Dr. Kalathil is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
