International SOS (iSOS) at +1-215-942-8478. Students requiring any type of emergency assistance are instructed to contact iSOS, who accepts collect calls and is available 24/7 to assist with overseas medical, security, or legal emergencies.
As an alternative, students may also call the UTMB Emergency Abroad dedicated phone at +1-409-761-1308. This number is monitored 24/7 while UTMB students are abroad, and will be answered by the designated UTMB Global Health personnel on-call. This number should ONLY be used for emergency issues.
