Global Health at UTMB trains health professionals to work with vulnerable populations at home and abroad. We provide cutting-edge interprofessional learning opportunities working with our long-term partners to provide safe, well-supervised, and meaningful international electives for our learners. UTMB has field sites in the Dominican Republic, Kenya, Peru and Uganda. Congratulations to our 18 graduating Global Health Track students on successful matches! Of the 18 graduates, 14 matched to primary care fields (78%). 

2019 GH Track Matching

Congratulations to our Class of 2019 Community Engagement Track graduates on a successful match! The Community Engagement Track was established in 2017 for students with combined interests in Public Health, Rural/Underserved Health, and Global Health and is a collaboration between the UTMB Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health and UTMB Center for Global and Community Health.
