Coronavirus Update:

  • All international travel by UTMB faculty, employees and students is suspended until further notice; any exceptions must be approved by the Office of the President.
  • Domestic travel is highly discouraged at the present time, unless it is considered mission-critical to the health and/or welfare of the university and its activities. Exceptions must be approved by the Office of the President.
  • All incoming (visiting) domestic and international travel by learners and/or visitors is suspended until further notice.
  • All UTMB employees and students returning from international travel—whether business or personal—must contact Employee Health Services and Student Health Services, respectively, to be screened by telephone prior to returning to any UTMB campus. They may be required to home quarantine by the County’s Health Authority until cleared for return to campus.
