Congratulations to Dr. Sadaf Milani on receiving the NOA for her K01 research! The overall goal of this K01 research and training plan is to compare self-reported pain and diagnosed pain to establish the link between pain and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) and determine the extent to which untreated pain is a potentially modifiable risk factor that may contribute to the gender disparity in ADRD, while obtaining training in analysis of survey-linked Medicare claims data.
