Dr. Warneke was born in Pasadena, Texas and grew up in Southeast Houston. He received his MD from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1999 and completed his residency at UTMB in 2002. He then completed two fellowships in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Advanced Endoscopy. Before joining our faculty in Gastroenterology, he was in privet practice for 16 years in the Houston area. Dr. Warneke is married with 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing guitar.
