Please join us in welcoming Mehmet Altintas, PhD, Associate Professor, to the Division of Nephrology!
Dr. Altintas received his B.S., M.Sc. and Ph.D all in Chemical Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkiye. Prior to joining UTMB Health, Dr. Altintas served as an Associate Professor at Rush university in Chicago, IL since 2012. Before his career at Rush University, he held academic appointments at Harvard University and the University of Miami, respectively. Dr. Altintas is a senior scientist/academician with more than 29 years of teaching and research experience in Engineering and Medical colleges. He is a national renowned podocyte scientist with a strong publication record in the field of Nephrology.
