Christopher has been with UTMB for just over 8 ½ years and joined ASGII in 2021. As a Grants Administrator, he assists researchers with finding funding, interpreting sponsor guidelines, drafting proposal budgets, preparing, reviewing, and submitting applications, responding to JIT requests, managing subcontracts and interfacing with partnering departments, institutions, and sponsors.
Christopher says “I am happy to be helping our researchers represent their incredible science. While constantly working with sponsor deadlines can be demanding, it is also very rewarding to know that people are
being helped and research ideas are coming to realization.” When Christopher isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife Isabella, and their 1-year-old son, and trying food from around the world.
