Biography

Crystalyn Richard, PT, DPT, GCS, CEEAA, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy in the School of Health Professions (SHP) at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). Dr. Richard received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Dillard University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Indiana University.

Her professional interests span from geriatric fall risk reduction across the healthcare continuum to general community/public wellness. Dr. Richard has a passion for increasing education among clinicians, students and the general public on best practice care in the geriatric population.
