Providing world-class medical services, it became a main referral center in the Middle East. It has collaborative relation with several international health systems and academic institutes including the University of Texas Medical Branch at
Galveston, TX and George Washington University in Washington DC.
3rd and 4th year UTMB medical students have the opportunity to participate in clinical rotations for after finishing the clerkship relevant to the specialty of the clinical rotation.
