    Research Day, held May 29, is UTMB's annual celebration of innovation, collaboration, and discovery. From insightful investigator spotlights and a powerful keynote talk, to the inaugural poster session and the ever-popular Core Showcase, the day delivered inspiration to attendees from all areas of the institution.     Dr. Uzoma Obi-Nwankwo served as Physician of the Day for the Texas Legislature on May 13. This role, organized through the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, allows physicians to provide medical care to legislators, staff, and visitors, showcasing the essential role of family medicine in our communities.
