Galveston Clinics
- Faculty Clinic Rotations
- General Endocrinology Clinics at the Primary Care Pavilion
- Transgender Clinic – Occurs Thursday PM and Friday AM once monthly
- Fellows rotate through twice a year
- Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Clinic
- Fellows rotate through this clinic twice a year. Clinic occurs on Tuesday afternoons and involves the care of TDCJ inmates.
Inpatient Consult Rotations
Galveston – Main Hospital Rotation
- PGY4s Will rotate through inpatient consults for 1-month blocks that begin on the 1st of the month and end on the last day of the month. They complete 3 blocks in their first year.
- PGY5s Will rotate through inpatient consults for a single 1-month block as the majority of their 2nd year consists of ambulatory rotations.
- PGY5s will cover the first 3 months of consults for the year in order to provide incoming fellows time to study for their internal medicine boards and to acclimate to the new program.
League City – Secondary Hospital Rotation
- All fellows who are not on their inpatient consult month in Galveston will cover consults in League City campus Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM.
- One fellow covers these consults for 1 week at a time.
Specialty Rotations
- Nuclear Medicine
- PGY4s will have this rotation in which they can explore observing Radioactive Iodine Ablations, Parathyroid Scans and DXA Scans
- Pediatric Endocrinology
- For PGY5s
- Clinics are located in both Galveston and in League City
- Reproductive Endocrinology
- For PGY5s Clinic is located in Clear Lake
