Bio-Sidra Qureshi

  • Dr. Sidra Qureshi is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine. Her educational background includes a B.S. in Biology from Trinity University in 2010 and an M.D. degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in 2014.

    During her internship and residency Dr. Qureshi was an active member of the House Staff and was selected to serve as Chief Resident from 2017 – 2018. She joined the Internal Medicine faculty practice in July 2018. She currently serves as one of the Associate Program Directors of the Internal Medicine Residency Program.

    Currently, Dr. Qureshi practices in the Outpatient and Inpatient setting. She has a passion for resident education, and enjoys precepting residents in clinic and serving as an attending on the inpatient service. Her interests include finding innovative approaches to Resident education and wellness, and she has been a proponent of the Social Media outreach of the Residency. Additionally, Dr. Qureshi enjoys teaching in the Medical School and is an MS1 Practice of Medicine facilitator.
