Bio-Peter Cram
Peter Cram, MD, MBA is a Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX. He was on faculty at the University of Iowa (2002-2013) and Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Sinai Health System and University Health Network at the University of Toronto (2014-2021). His current research foci include: 1) using administrative data to compare healthcare utilization and outcomes across developed countries; 2) enhancing communication of risk and prognosis to patients and after low impact hip fractures; 3) studying prices of care and the impact of price transparency efforts. He has published more than 200 research papers. Peter is the co-founder of the international health system research collaborative (IHSRC) with Bruce Landon from Harvard.
