“ Clinical Pathological Conference ”

Objectives: At this conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:

  1. Understanding LFT Elevations.
  2. Working up liver lesions.
  3. Understanding pathophysiology of hepatitis.

Target Audience and NeedsInternal Medicine faculty, staff, registered nurses, residents, fellows, students, and internists specializing in Allergy & Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Palliative Care, Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, and Rheumatology need to be regularly updated with new research and guidelines regarding the evaluation and management of medical disorders and implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and improve patient outcomes.

Educational Methods: Educational methods will include lectures, case presentations, literature review, and panel discussion.

Activity Evaluation: Participants may be asked to complete a session evaluation.

Accreditation/Credit Designation: The University of Texas Medical Branch is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
