- Explain the epidemiology, virology & pathogenesis of infection due to SARS-CoV-2.
- Discuss the pathophysiological processes of CoVID-19 infection that affect the cardiovascular system.
- Identify the cardiovascular clinical manifestations resulting from CoVID-19 infection.
Target Audience and Needs: Internal Medicine faculty, staff, registered nurses, residents, fellows, students, and internists specializing in Allergy & Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, General Medicine,
Geriatrics, Hematology & Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Palliative Care, Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, and Rheumatology need to be regularly updated with new research and guidelines regarding the evaluation and
management of medical disorders and implement them in clinical practice to enhance the quality of patient care and improve patient outcomes.
